Day 1: Vineyard & Permaculture
Fly Rex Airlines from Brisbane to St George and enjoy an alfresco lunch at Riversands Wines, followed by a private vineyard tour. Afternoon visit to a local permaculture garden includes a workshop on healthy soil fundamentals — “Soil vs Dirt.”

Day 2: Bush Tucker & Country Gardens
Travel west along the Adventure Way into classic outback terrain. Meet Elder and traditional custodian Bill Speedy of Nullawokka First Nations Gallery & Tours, and enjoy home-baked morning tea beside Wallam Creek. Visit a private garden demonstrating water-wise design before travelling to Cunnamulla and checking in to Club Boutique Hotel.

Day 3: Wildflower trail & Melbourne Cup Celebrations in Eulo
Place your bets! The race that stops the nation is finally here The Lexus Melbourne Cup and you get to enjoy it in style with the locals in Eulo while raising vital funds for (RFDS) Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Today is dedicated to Melbourne Cup Celebrations, Fashions and Hats while exploring the wildflower trails around Cunnamulla & Eulo. Depart after breakfast and enjoy a day out in the bush with your guide, looking for seasonal wildflowers such as Everlastings, Paper Daisies Sturt’s, Emu Bush and more. Depending on the conditions, your route may include stops at scenic lookouts, roadside flower patches or natural waterholes.

Day 4: Francvillers Cattle Station Garden
Visit Francvillers Station, a 50,000-acre sheep and cattle property, where Sarah Dunsdon of Outback Flora shares her passion for blending hardy native plants with classic cottage favourites. Her garden was featured in Australian Country Magazine. Morning tea in Sarah’s garden is followed by a street-by-street guided tour of Cunnamulla’s community gardens.

Day 5: Wildflower& Spectacular Charleville Garden
Travel north to Charleville in the heart of Queensland’s Mulga Lands bioregion. Visit private gardens showcasing native and ornamental plants, explore Made in Murweh crafts, and make garden ornaments at the local cultural centre. Return to Cunnamulla via wildflower sightings.

Day 6: Cunnamulla Bushland Gardens & Private Gardens
Tour public and private gardens that reflect the creativity, warmth, and resilience of the Cunnamulla community. Meet passionate local gardeners sharing tips and tricks — from hardy plant varieties to raised-bed techniques.
Explore the Cunnamulla Bushlands Gardens — a 6-hectare site featuring Mulga Lands, Sandhills, and Wetlands with interpretive signage on native plant communities. Afternoon visits to innovative private gardens showcase shade planting and water-conservation techniques.

Day 7: Cunnamulla Touring & Private Garden & Bathing
After breakfast, set out on a day of surprise garden visits in and around Cunnamulla. Day 8: Homeward Bound
Leisurely final breakfast with free time to explore Cunnamulla — the Cunnamulla Fella statue, heritage trail, or Warrego River Walk. Optional visit to Cunnamulla Hot Springs. Late morning transfer to the airport for the Rex Airlines flight to Brisbane.

What fitness level is required?
The tour is designed for relaxed, slow-paced exploration. Most garden visits involve easy walking on flat terrain. Some wildflower trail sections may involve short walks on uneven ground. A moderate level of mobility is recommended.
Is the wildflower season guaranteed?
Wildflowers are seasonal and depend on rainfall. July–October departures offer the best chance. Your guide will know the best current locations, though abundance cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. For the 1–8 November 2026 departure only, the single supplement is waived. For other departures a solo supplement applies; call or enquire for solo pricing.
What should I bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen, warm layers for cooler evenings (especially July–September), a camera for garden photography, and any personal medications. All meals, guides, and entry fees are included.
